I have for sale a Canon s3is camera, together with an adapter and two separate converters. All items are in excellent condition and provide a good opportunity for anyone to start bird photography. The camera is 6MP with 12x zoom. The 35mm equivalent is 36-432mm. It has many scene settings and can be used from fully automatic "point and shoot" to those settings with more manual control. It has a fully variable screen.
It is an ideal way to get to grips with wildlife photography before moving up to a camera which is more challenging. That is my sole reason for sale.
The converters are 0.7x (wide angle) and 1.7x respectively . The 1.7x gives a zoom equivalent of 19x (700mm+) . Think of the cost (and weight) of that for a DSLR!
It runs off 4x AA batteries.
£125 for the whole package.
