That price seems a bit pricey, £50?

This could be one of those threads that go on and on and on

Alistair,

Six years ago I paid £150 for a secondhand 60mm scope and considered it to be a good buy! I'm still using it. I'd snap up John's bargain offer, especially if you haven't got a scope.

John

Well, you know I can't drive (John Clarkson know that), and I'm the only one who wants it, so I can name my own price... ...so, I can't see the problem? "Don't get Done, Get Dom," that's who you learn!

By the way, I am still intrested in buying the scope. I am unemployed, and I can't ever drive because the law will not let me, so all I can offer you John, is £55, maybe £60, and I'm afraid that unless someone picks me up and drives me to your place, I can't see how I can collect it.

Sorry if that is inconvenient to you, but I can't see how else I can do it. It was hard enough getting my mum to go to Grainthorpe... And John T Goy, I have got a scope, just not a very good one.
