Chambers Wood NNR 24 July 2009 Rides and paths near car park 07.45 -08.30 Sunny and warm At least 7 grass snakes noted basking in area of low bramble scrub next to ride, some twisted around each other. One about 1m off ground on bramble. Another two noted on cut grass alongside path. Cheers Brian |
