Not a topic of great interest to many but attractive little beasts.

Yesterday at Crowle Waste just 2 species; Leptura maculata x 3 and Leptura quadrifasciata x 3.

Today at Chambers much better;

Leptura maculata x 11
Stenocorus meridianus x 1
Rhagium mordax x 1
Agapanthea villosoviridescens x 3
Alosterna tabacicolor x 20 (Brown Longhorn)

Photos of all these species in June album, maybe, also the May album.

My regular wander around today was a serious counting session; loads of Leptura maculata on umbillifers and dog rose, a total of 197 in 4 hours. Also 3 Wasp Beetles, 2 Agapanthea villosoviridescens, 1 Stenocorus meridianus and Brown Longhorns all over. I'll add some more photos over the next few days.
