I found a good sized fish today on the beach near Mablethorpe. A GBBGull and Magpie were having a peck. Anybody know the species name? :?:

Looks like a Sea Bream, the common one in the north sea is the Black Sea Bream. (Brama Brama).

Very nice cooked in garlic butter and served with a rostti and pickled red cabbage.

also known as Atlantic Pomfret, found in Atlantic, Indian and Pacific Oceans to 1,000m depth.
