While looking for butterflies found a clump[is that the right word?] of Araneus Diadematus spiderlings on an ivy leaf, wasn't sure what it was for a start till i lightly touched it, then all hell broke loose  Took photos of them at rest and tthen taking cover.

July 21st

After coming from garden noticed what I thought was a beetle on pullie. It flew onto window sill and I managed to take some photos. After consulting my guide book found it is a Forest Bug, according to info it says it is usually found in woods especially where Oak grows. I have quite a few trees and believe some are Oak. What an interesting find!
