Hi all,

I finally got round to joining and would like to say hi to all here and a big thanks to Colin J for sorting out my initial log in problem.

I live in Grantham and after a redirection in hobbies (for want of a better phrase!) I am now looking to get out there more and enjoy our Lincs birds and countryside.

I also want to improve my photography skills and techniques along the way too.

I have a Canon 500D and a Canon EF 400mm f/5.6L USM lens specially for bird pics. I aim to place any images taken on here once I am happy they are of a decent quality :)

I am sure I will be asking a few questions on good sites to visit and tips on photgraphing birds also so please be patient if I do ask some basic questions going forward.

I look forward to reading the many posts on this forum.

Many years ago when I followed the horses I remember there was a Steve Nesbitt who trained racehorses in Yorkshire.

Yes I recall the SN trainer myself, although I'm not a betting man my Dad used to rate him a lot, not sure how much he won on his horses though!!! :lol:
