Hello to all, a quick introduction
I moved into the area two years ago. Years ago I used to go birding most weekends.These days I might go out once a month and just enjoy, rather than chasing ticks
I used to live on the South Coast where Farlington Marshes / Pagham were my local patches
I have managed to go to Frampton, Gib Point and Frieston (which is about 15 minutes drive from my home) so far.
I try and promote a wild life habit at home (we a few acres) , get the usual birds nesting, blackbirds, pigeons, collared dove, robins, tits, green finches, flycatchers, black birds and thrushes, moor hens. Although we did have a pair of little owls looking for a next in the spring and I plan to put up some owl nesting boxes.
