Hi all.
I've been reading the boards for several years now, but have never actually contributed anything. Thought I'd better introduce myself!
My name's Georgia, I've been bird watching since the tender age of 7, so that's 20 years of birding under my belt (no prizes for working out my age!). I'm far from expert level, but I try my best and strive to learn something new every time I go out into the field.
Currently a non-driver, something which I hope to rectify before the year is out. This does tend to restrict my birding opportunities due to the remote location of a lot of reserves/ birding sites.
I tend to stick to very local areas (Cleethorpes Saltmarsh, Country Park, Bradley Woods etc), but I'm also a big fan of Far Ings NNR as it's a fairly simply 50 minute train journey.
I really enjoy nature photography and macro work with insects/ spiders etc.
Um...... that'll do for now!
