Post subject:  Hi All

My name is Roy White. Jan, my wife, and I moved up to Southrey in Lincolnshire in August. We were in Bursledon which is at the top of the Hamble River in Hampshire and visited Pagham Harbour and Farlington Marshes reasonably often, although never often enough.
We have been too busy to do much travelling up here but have been once to Gib which was great.
We are very close to the Witham now and it is smashing to be able to stroll along the river and see all the wildlife.
So far we have seen barn owls, sparrow hawks and the usual garden visitors on the gantry feeder, not the owl though - he prefers to drop his pellets down the bottom of the garden.
Just this minute seen two redwings. Must have seen the apples left lying on the ground in the hope of just this sighting.
Hope to hear from some of the members soon,
Roy & Jan
