Hello everyone, I am a new member of the forum! I currently live near Boston, Lincs but I am at the moment residing in South Australia at Birds Australia's Gluepot Reserve. I have been here for a month and I am entering my last week here. I am relatively young and so this is a big trip for me. The birds here are fantastic and I have seen a great number of new species, including: malleefowl, chestnut quail thrush, rufous and Gilbert's whistler and splendid fairy wren. I have been asked to write a report for the club upon my return, however, I am just updating the forum with my progress. Any replys or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Robert |

Hello Robert. Nice to see a new face. If you haven't already noticed, there's quite a biggen' here in Lincs, Audouin's Gull. It's currently showing North of Chapel Point. Just type it into http://www.multimap.com. Details are on the Lincs Bird Reports forum. |

Hello Alastair, Thanks for the post, I can't believe the Audouin's gull has decided to turn up in Lincolnshire in the month I am away! I hope it stays around untill I get back, but I am not holding my breath! Thanks, Robert |
