So, after checking re the hotspots on 'Birdguides', we set off ..... for Kilnsea and Spurn. On a day to be remembered, our highlights were :
Wryneck - showing very well on the outside branch of a bush for c5 minutes near the Point behind the Lifeboat Station Red-backed Shrike - (in the 'Triangle') - capturing a beetle in flight and returning to its perch Whinchat - 5 Wheatear - 4 Redstart - 3 Pied Flycatcher Spotted Flycatcher - in the "Crown and Anchor" car park, Kilnsea Chiffchaff Goldcrest Sparrowhawk Little Egret.
