As I had a day off to attend a Bird ID Improvers course at BTO HQ at Thetford, so I went to Norfolk early - (on the ground at 0630) to try and get the Kentish Plover, Temmincks and Citrine Wagtail. Got the wag - thats all four BOU ones this year! However missed out on the Kentish and Stints. Did get some Sandwich Terns for the year and a Bar-tailed Godwit.

During practical at Nunnery Lakes, Common Sands were nice, Marsh Tit and 7 species of Warbler. Then tried for Golden Oriole nearby and was content with a very close view of a Cuckoo!
Cheers
