Went to Lound today - always be Lound to me even though there are signs all over telling you that this is the Idle Valley Nature Reserve
Highlights on a mainly sunny day for a change

long tailed duck at the Idle end of Neatholme Lane
hobby
red crested pochard 10 scattered around
nightingale singing Neatholme Lane
lots of warblers in song
common tern
redshank 2
ringed plover 1
oystercatcher
I and several others managed to miss a couple of common crane which flew over
