what a day at rutland first time see the cattle engret . osprey. water rail with young four in total . until a black back gull got one for dinner . we got a photo as the gull was takeing it . all of use not happy to see that young chick been taken , the highlit was seeing two red kites.about twenty feet away on the road comeing home at manton.tryed to stop to take a photos but time i pulled up the had gone in the woods .so i know where they are iam going back to get photos //? i will let the right people know where the nest is as know where it is but i will let sighting by telphone only to the authers. best day for a long time . four more ticks in the book . john lusby.
