Visited for the first time on Friday - a very impressive Visitor Centre. I spoke to the Forestry Commission's Senior Wildlife Ranger who estimates 200 pairs of breeding Red Kites in the Rockingham Forest area which can't be bad. We had cracking views all over the area including one flying at about 40 feet above our hotel in the centre of Oundle!! |
