Made a trip up to this raptor mecca today and again wasn't disappointed, with at least 3 Goshawk's,adult male, juv male and adult female seen very well,at one point the female was seen in the same scope view as a Honey Buzzard!.There was at least 2 Honey's present with 1 displaying, giving good views albeit a bit distant at times. Also in the area was 3 Common Buzzard.
Other highlights through the day were several Painted Ladies and 3 Small pearl-bordered Fritillaries at nearby Newtondale.
