Not been for quite a while.

13.30 - 19.15 : Sunny and warm on the paths but windy and chilly in the hides. Low tide.

Had hoped to see the Spotted Redshank but it didn't show, it had during the morning. In total saw 30 species of bird plus a few Painted Lady. The main highlight of my visit cannot be mentioned but I'm sure there isn't a doubt what it was. Others included:

Tree Sparrows
House Martin & Swifts
Shoveler
Teal
Stock Dove
Reed Warbler
Gadwall
Greenshank
Whitethroat
Grey Heron

No shortage of people to chat to.

Other sightings seen on the notice board but not by me were Spoonbill, Green Sand, Bittern, Bearded Tit.

Kind regards

John
