Made a trip to Whixall Moss in Shropshire in search of the white faced darter.
Weather could have been better, dry and sunny at times but could have been warmer, did manage to see 9 white faced darters though despite the cool temperature, another tick for me, also four spot chasers, 1 black tailed skimmer and a single black darter. Lots of large heath butterflies about too.
Highlight of the day was two common cranes flying over.
