Not really a birding report,although we recorded breeding Whinchat's,Tree Pipit and a Peregrine,it was this sites superb insect's we came to see,this is what we recorded: 66 Small pearl-bordered Fritillary 7 Dark-green Fritillary 1 Dingy Skipper 6 Large Heath(of the race polydama) 5 male Golden-ringed Dragonfly 41 Keeled Skimmer 4 Small argent and sable 25 Beautiful-yellow Underwing A superb day at this cracking site.
