Sorry for late report! Visit of 5 days New Quay area and two days in Anglesey.

The weather wasnt good at all, especially for photography - overcast mostly. Everywhere was pretty quiet but we managed 66 species. Some areas were frustratingly lacking in any kind of wildlife.

Highlights were Chough nearly every day (lifer), Cettis Warbler (lifer), White Wagtail(lifer) and a winter plumaged Guillemot that hung around for about 3 days and gave good views.

We saw Bottle Nosed Dolphins and Seals on a daily basis, these could be seen from the cottage windows which was very pleasant.

We kept dipping out on the Glossy Ibis which appeared all over the west coast - but had always moved on when we arrived at the area they had been seen!

Some photos will be on the blog next week sometime
