A very windy day at Weeting Heath today, the sightings are as follows:
Stone Curlew x3 (My first ever, really good views) Common Buzzard x2 Kestrel x1 Sparrowhawk x1 Long-tailed Tit x2 Marsh Tit x2 Green Woodpecker x1 Stock Dove x50 Goldcrest x2 Mistle Thrush x1 Lapwing x35
There have been a lot of reports of woodlarks during the past few days, but we didn't have any look finding any due to the strong winds.
Also at our cabin near Downham Market market this evening there was a single taiga Bean Goose juv mixed in with a flock of canada, greylag and egyptian geese.
Cheers, Richard
