While taking friends out for a drive I stopped off at Boston Park and Ten Acre Lake, we only stayed half an hour as they were wanting lunch.

At Boston Park saw Greylags, Coot, Mallard, Tufties and some distant gulls.

At Ten Acre had a bit better luck with two Chiffchaffs, a male Blackcap, six Sand Martin, four Chaffinch, one Great-crested Grebe, one Mallard, six Tufties, four Brimstone, six Peacock and a Large White.

Then at the Green Tree while they were having lunch I stayed in car and had my sarnies and flask of tea and saw four Peacock on the rough area at the back.

Kind regards

John
