A red kite over the A1 on the way to Rutland Water

Lots of work just started at the Egleton Reserve. No access down to the two hides on Manton Bay but you can still scan the Bay from Lax Hill with a scope

Osprey 2 in Manton Bay - the male born in 2004 at Rutland - the female unringed and probably from Scotland I'm told
buzzard
green sandpiper
blackcap
willow warbler
chiffchaff
grasshopper warbler at least 2
artic tern
common tern
goldeneye lots of female but only 1 male
great spotted woodpecker
ruff
