More travelling today. Had to go to Norwich this morning so decided to do a detour on the way back with my first visit to Titchwell in over three years. Very impressed with the new Parrinder Hide though lots of people used the new communal area outside the hide. Horrendous traffic in the Kings Lynn area Highlights included spotted redshank red crested pochard garganey (pair) sedge warblers everywhere bittern booming wheatear knot all for the first time this year other goodies included marsh harrier little egret yellow wagtail white wagtail little ringed plover avocet ruff redshank turnstone dunlin sanderling pintail other highlights not seen by me lesser whitethroat garden warblers little tern sandwich tern hobby |
