No doubt many have been to the new "Parrinder" hide at Titchwell, which I visited at the weekend. Superb facilities in the hides with wind-down windows etc. but I wondered about the hideous concrete walkway between the two. It invites you to look over the railings onto the freshwater marsh immediately to the left of the hide, thereby spooking everything close to the hide windows, many birders in the hide complained every time someone's head and shoulders appeared over the railings. Has this been thought through?
Any one else noticed this?
By the way I still prefer wooden shacks!
