A walk around my new town today wasn't great, but here goes River dyfi 1 female gooseander and a cormorant, the river is still fast flowing and the levels are down from the floods last week, fields flooded but after 2 hrs of scanning, nothing Town. Ravens overhead 3,buzzard,red kite c8,jackdaws c500 and in the small wooded parkland surrounding the old lord londonderrys house(now a restaurant/art gallery/museum) the highlight of the day a lesser spotted woodpecker. My town list without really trying is a poor 20,but does include all the above,so who am i to moan? |

Two lifers in there for me! With Lesser spotted woodpecker being an outstanding bird and in my eyes and most likely of others an extremely rare English bird |
