Weekend family trip to Scarborough Area
28/29 Jan 2012
Purple Sandpiper 62 (north pier)
Shag 5
Black redstart 1 (Marine Drive)
Stonechat 1
Kittiwake 2
Guillemot 4
Red-throated diver 1
Woodcock 1 (in off sea)
Peregrine 1
Gannet 3
Fulmar 50+
Wigeon 200+ (feeding in large rockpools in North Bay)
Nuthatch 1
A few harbour porpoise also off Marine Drive area (some quite close).
The local herring gulls managed to get me twice with their poo, just lucky I guess!

Also in Wykeham Forest, crossbills, siskins and repolls were frequent.
