Visit to Blacktoft Produced very little today due to flooded paths to Marshland and Xerox. We made it to Marshland and managed

10. Spotted Redshank
10. Redshank
8. Snipe
2. Marsh Harriers

+ Shoveler and Teal with 2 Little Grebe & a large number of Golden Plover over the Trent.

Other hides were mainly unproductive.

Despite the falling tide the return walk was through deeper water but a good pair of boots and walking on heels proved to be successful.

Good numbers of Tree Sparrow and LTT in the car park.

Forgot to mention a weasel trying to avoid the rising waters.
