Thanks for the info. Brian. I had seen reports of upto 5 SEO reported 2 weeks ago but none since then. I didn't bother going as a mate said the lane was like bog with mud from off the carrot fields. Has it improved any?

Also are the Whoopers & Bewick's still present over the river?

At least 4 bean geese seen with greylag flock on floods just to north side of the River Idle. Probably taigas judging from bill markings and simliar size to greylags. Spooked really easily and flew west behind tall trees.
No sign of winter swans here but they were present further north near Wroot (see Lincs sightings).
