A sunny, sometimes-chilly, sometimes-foggy day at Titchwell Marsh produced Lifer 215 for me!

Long-tailed Duck - 1 female preening and resting seen from the Island Hide. Lifer 215, so a celebratory pizza will be ordered soon!

Spotted Redshank - 1 feeding on the brackish scrape.
Little Egret - 1 seen close to Long-tailed Duck.
Siskin - Reserve First for me. 3 on the feeders outside the cafe entrance.
Brambling - Reserve First. 2 male, 1 female on feeders the other side of the cafe. First I've seen for just over 3 years.
Water Rail - 1 seen in the open at the same time as the Bramblings. First Water Rail I've seen in 3 years.
Long-tailed Tit - mobile flock of 10 in trees along the path to the scrapes.

Avocet - about 10 on scrapes seen from Island hide.
Sanderling - 3 zipping around on beach in very heavy fog.
Knot - large flock just outside the Parrinder Hide, poss. 500 birds.
Godwits - good nos. of Bar and Black-tailed on scrapes. Group of 10 seen through fog.
Curlew - 3 on beach.

Usual trio of very confiding robins along path from car park to reserve. Good numbers of wildfowl on scrapes. Teal, Pintail, Shoveler, Gadwall, Tufted, Mallard etc...
