Just returned from a 4 day trip to Islay, 4 of us managed a list of 110 species. All 3 divers, Golden Eagles, Hen Harriers,Terns, Wheatears and Chats plus 1000+ Barnacle Geese, there were still some Greenland Whitefronts about and Swallows,House and Sand Martins were arriving daily. We dipped on 2 of our targets, W T Eagle and Corncrake but were rewarded on the last day by seeing a Sea Otter! Ron |
