Bird reported still present at dusk.
Directions/Access:
In collingham village opposite church, turn down 'Ferry Lane' and continue to 1st gravel pit in right, just beyond Ferry farm and park carefully on grass verge.
Walk to obvious gap in hedge & disused steel gate, approx. 250 metres from farm building & adjacent public footpath sign. To view gravel pit.
Bird viewed on both areas of low raised gravel mounds and on distant terraced soil/sand bank in southeastern corner of pit.
NB: Bird does disappear on occasion for long periods.
Good luck.
