not a lot better than up here really with only small amounts of migrants minsmere and dunwich area best of it was 3 Dartford warbler wood lark 10 stonechat at dunwich minsmere 3 greenshank 3 adders 2 sandwich tern about 30 sand martin 15 swallow lots of cettis 2 bearded tit.but no nightingale, willow warblers, reed warbs yet no other terns lakenheath area 2 sedge warblers great white egret common tern, only one no other migrants yet good numbers stone curlew at weeting area upto 20 birds just arriving plus woodlark pretty dire and hard work for little reward, not that I didn't see good birds but it was the numbers of passerines, saw red kite in various areas en route which I will pass on the info to appropriate people eg 11 birds. terry whalin |
