Whiskered Tern - the reported juvenile bird showed very well throughout the visit especially on the Brackish Marsh
Brent Geese Pink-footed Geese Egyptian Geese Curlew Golden Plover Grey Plover Curlew Sandpiper Turnstone Ruff Bar-tailed Godwit Black-tailed Godwit Little Egret Avocet Pintail Wigeon Ringed Plover Bearded Tit Marsh Harrier cc Sanderling Gannet Common Scoter
plus: 4.05 - 4.25pm
Pink-footed Geese - 1000 + flew over the A149 in the Titchwell and Thornham area coming from the Brancaster Bay saltmarsh and flying inland towards Docking. - virtually non-stop series of skeins for 20 minutes. - a really impressive sight plus the inevitable deep honking calls mixed with the sharper, higher ones.
