The Lincolnshire Bird Club

Well, what a productive day for me this was! I'm exhausted looking at it! I've included observations along the journey there and back, including a diversion to Fakenham, and it's like a mini bird-race all of its own, with some new sightings for me!

Are any of you still awake?

On such a high after a brilliant day's birdwatching - definitely the BEST DAY'S birdwatching in my short career! Unbelievable.... raided the Visitor Centre shop for a lot of booty afterwards. Bought 3 DVDs, 2 books, 5 postcards, 10 RSPB pin badges, RSPB mug and genuinely felt deflated on the car journey home! Gibraltar Point next!

Golden Pheasants at Titchwell? Either escapes or you are mistaken as they don't occur at Titchwell and are now very rare and hard to see in Britain at the few remaining sites they are at.

Best place to see Golden Pheasant is in the Wolverton triangle around the scissors X area early morning or evening they often walk along the side of the road. Map ref sheet 132 is square 6628.

On the Focalpoint bird reports for yesterday the 6th Feb I noticed Golden Pheasant, Wolverton triangle. Told you it was the best place to find them.
