I attended a friends Ruby Wedding party with my Wife on Saturday in Poole, Dorset, and stayed the night at the Hotel. After breakfast before setting off home to Lincolnshire we took the opportunity to drive to Sandbanks along the waterfront of Poole harbour. On a sandspit were about 20 Oystercatcher and 30 Knot. Iin the middle of the Knot one stood out from the rest as it appeared to be in its full rusty red summer plumage. |
