No less than 13 Red Kites above Motorway - at least 8 with wing tags (Colour ?). Plus 1 close in field with lunch!

Sorry can not be more accurate but by son does not drive slowly!

Regards,

Bob.

P.S. That's 15 in a week including the one south of Stamford (Just outside county) from the A1 (Also with tags - again could not make out colour at 69.5 m.p.h!)

Post subject:  Red Kites - Northamptonshire

Bob - recently visited one of their Northamptonshire roost sites. There were 100+ kites in attendance. Hard to be more specific but their were 40+ in each of 2 adjoining woods with a further 20 visible in trees forming the boundary to adjoining fields.
Just before dusk each group had a collective fly round.
Regards, David Wright
