After seeing Chris Packhams visit here during the first series of Natures Calendar, we visited there today and we not disappointed! Beautiful surroundings, walked ten miles!! And the sun was out most of the time!

Highlights were:

2 GS Woodpecker
5 Dippers
5 Grey Wagtail
Hundreds of Jackdaw!
1 Med Gull
Numerous BH Gull
12 Goosander
5 Goldcrest
4 Little Grebe
Lots of Blue/Great Tit
2 Oystercatcher ( unbelievably on the banks of ornamental lake, we were surprised to see them, maybe they had stopped for a rest??!!)
4 Coal Tit.

Well worth a visit!! Will return there sometime during the summer
