Went to Blacktoft's open day / feed the birds day today, and had two firsts - black-tailed godwit and a peregrine (distant view, but a view none the less!!) which had caught something in a field.
Also excellent views of a barn owl and a distant, misty marsh harrier.
Others;
Stone chat (m & f)
Shelduck
Mallard
Redshank
Pheasant
Tree sparrow
Wren
Moorhen
Water rail
Magpie
Blackbird
Black headed gull
Little grebe
Heron (3 quite close together)
Crow
I was quite pleased with my little list!

Didn't get to see the whooper swan which is there because the boys got bored and I had to go home!!!

Libby. :D
