Post subject:  Thorne Moors.

A trip out to Thorne Moors to look for the reported female Red-footed Falcon from yesterday(There has been four differant birds here through the week),resulted in not one but two females,an adult female and a 1st summer female, both sat in the same silver birch!,if that was'nt a good enough spectacle it was later joined by a 1st summer Hobby, talk about raptor heaven. As i left after watching the birds for a good 3 hours i watched the 2 Red foot's and 5 Hobbies hawking insects over the heath,an awsome spectacle, and well worth the 2 hour walk.
Other birds seen where a female Marsh Harrier and a pair of Stonechats, and 9 Common Tern over Will Pitts.

Steve.
