Smew - 4 or 5 males and 1 or 2 females - really brightened up a gloomy day! Iceland Gull - a 2nd winter bird joined the gull roost at about 3:15. Mediterranean Gull - an adult in winter plumage in the gull roost. Plenty of Wigeon, Teal, Black-headed Gulls etc Happy New Year everybody! Colin and Sheila |
