A few hours to spare today,so i decided to pop over the river to Welton Water near Brough, this is what i saw:

1 juv/1st winter Great-northern Diver(On the main ski pit).
1 male Red-crested Pochard(On the fishing ponds, with mixed flock of Goldeneye,Smew,Tufted Duck and Pochard).
1 male Smew(Could be the Far-Ings bird,as it was seen here last winter, associating with a flock of 10 Goldeneye).
1 juv/1st winter female Scaup(On the main ski pit,with a flock of 54 Pochard).
30 Whooper Swan(over,flying north west)
60 Wigeon
51 Tufted Duck
56 Pochard

A decent couple of hours. :D .

Steve.
