| Post subject: | Whiskered Terns - Willington GPs nr Derby - Sun 26 04 09 |
There have been up to 11 Whiskered Terns at Willington GPs these past few days ( the previous UK record was 4). I was pleased to watch 2 there during my visit today (Sun) 12.30 - 2.30pm. Plus incl. Common Tern - 6 Cormorant - 20+ Oystercatcher - 2 Common Buzzard - 1 over usual Ducks, Geese, Grebes, etc. More details on 'Lincs Bird Chat' under ""Twitcher or not". Regards Freddy |
