Just had 9 days in eastern Hungary rather wet on one day and rather too hot on several at 27C to 29C but a great area visited for the second time; many excellent birds plus a wealth of butterflies and dragonflies that has to be seen to be believed compared to our pesticide ravaged land; anyone wanting info just send me an email or pm
We flew from Humberside to Budapest, not the cheapest option but most convenient, with KLM then its a 3 hour drive to the Hortobagy or Zemlen on the nice EU funded motorway with lots of crazy drivers
accommodation and 3 days guiding was arranged through Saker Tours, thanks to János Oláh
