Have just returned from a trip to Sweden, again with Daniel Green. This time toured with Altiplano Bird Tours and had a fantastic time. Highlights were Gyr Falcon, Great Grey Owl, Hawk Owl (all with chicks) and Ural Owl. Visited a Great Snipe lek which was very sucessfull. Went up into the north onto the tundra for breeding dotterel and red necked plalaropes. A fabulous trip. Photos now on blog www.sandkspavin.blogspot.com Simon and Karen |
