They are spreading their wings - 2 Waxwing were reported at Valgrande, Llena,(Asturies province) on 29 Dec '10. A true rarity there. |

Richard, Perhaps you got your info from the Spanish Rare Birds website? The link is http://www.rarebirdspain.net/arbsr1012.htm for those interested. There are some fantastic photos - not just of the Waxwings, but of the Striped Crake and Red-footed Booby as well! Very useful - and in Spanish, English and Catalan, offering excellent opportunities to improve your understanding of these languages! Rob |
