Family holiday to Jersey over first week of June (my fourth visit there). The weather started off great and then went downhill rapidly. 71 bird species in total for trip but a few goodies including several short-toed treecreepers (with one in song), breeding white wagtails, Dartford warbler, puffins and Cetti's warblers.
Both green and wall lizards locally quite frequent. Didn't get to see an Agile Frog though. Pod of 20-30 bottle-nosed dolphins off one of the headlands was good. Five red squirrel sightings. Plants were excellent and included: Jersey (lax-flowered) orchid Lizard orchid Green-winged orchid Nottingham catchfly Small-flowered catchfly Sand catchfly Chidling Pink Western clover Subterranean clover Rough clover Bur medick Purple vipers bugloss yellow bartsia purple broomrape Tassel hyacinth spotted rockrose spotted cat's-ear Sand crocus Allseed Insects included field cricket, clouded buff moth and hummingbird hawk moth. Cheers Brian
