Hello, Just returned from a two-week holiday to Sri Lanka and Maldives (1 week in each). 12-26 Oct 2013. In Sri Lanka we were taken around by Nandana, our guide from 'walk with jith'. In the week we visited Sinharaja, Bundala and Yala National Parks and various small sites between all three. The place is alive with birds, mammals, insects and reptiles. And is well worth a visit even if only for one week. Although the time taken to get from one place to the other takes a considerable amount of time due to the very twisty roads, low speed limit and crazy drivers. Species list (and main places seen) are as follows: Sinharaja(S), Bundala(B), Yala(Y).
