Family holiday to the small resort of S'Algar, and guided trip with Javier of Menorca Walking Birds. S'Algar Swift Pallid Swift Yellow Leggged Gull Audouins Gull Swallow Linnet House Sparrow Colloard Dove Wood Pigeon Blackbird Sardinian Warbler Steppe Birds of Menorca, guided trip Hoopoe, (7) Raven, flock of 50 or 60 Thekla Lark Short Toed Lark Tawny Pipit Blue Rock Thrush Corys Shearwater Red Kite Booted Eagle Woodchat Shrike Spotless Starling, (30) Cattle Egret, breeding roost of 150 nests and about 200birds Bee Eater, (6) Alpine Swift, (20) Swift Pallid Swift Spotted Flycatcher Shag (30 Yellow Legged Gull Peregrine Kestrel Red Legged Partridge Honey Buzzard (rare sighting for this time of year) Anyone thinking of visiting Menorca and doesn't fancy hiring a car I would really recommend talking to Javier of Menorca Walking Birds. He knows the island really well, knows where the birds are, but is so atuned to local sites he instinctively finds birds without trying too hard.
